About Organization
Subi Foundation Humla Nepal is a non-profit, public welfare organization committed to building inclusive, resilient, and self-reliant communities across Nepal, with a particular focus on remote, marginalized, and vulnerable populations. The Foundation works to address interconnected social, economic, environmental, and humanitarian challenges through community-led development, sustainable livelihoods, essential services, climate resilience, social inclusion, and humanitarian action. We believe that lasting development is achieved when communities are empowered to identify their priorities, lead local solutions, and take ownership of their future.
With roots in Humla and a strong understanding of the realities of remote and mountain communities, Subi Foundation brings local knowledge and community perspectives into its development work. We recognize the importance of local culture, traditional knowledge, natural resources, and community institutions in creating sustainable solutions. While our work is grounded in the realities of remote communities, our vision extends across Nepal to support vulnerable populations wherever our expertise and partnerships can contribute meaningful impact.
Who We Work With
We work with and for children, women, youth, older people, farmers, marginalized communities, vulnerable households, and disaster-affected populations. We also work closely with local communities and institutions to ensure that development initiatives are inclusive, practical, and responsive to local needs.

Our Partnership Approach
Subi Foundation Humla Nepal believes that complex development and humanitarian challenges require collaboration.
