Subi Foundation Nepal work with communities to address critical social, economic, environmental, and humanitarian challenges. Our programs are designed to strengthen local capacities, expand opportunities, protect vulnerable communities, and promote sustainable and locally led development.

Our work focuses on five interconnected areas:

01. Education, Health & Community Well-being

We work to improve access to essential services and create healthier and more supportive communities.

What we do:

• Support quality and inclusive education for children and youth
• Provide educational materials and learning support to disadvantaged children
• Organize health camps and community health awareness programs
• Promote WASH, hygiene, sanitation, and healthy practices
• Support vulnerable children, women, older people, and disadvantaged households
• Strengthen awareness of health, nutrition, and community well-being

02. Sustainable Livelihoods & Local Economic Development

We help households and communities develop sustainable sources of income and strengthen local economic opportunities.

What we do:

• Promote climate-smart, sustainable, and organic agriculture
• Support livestock development and improved farming practices
• Provide vocational and entrepreneurship skills training
• Support women and youth in income-generating activities
• Promote small businesses, local enterprises, and employment opportunities
• Strengthen farmer groups, cooperatives, and community-based enterprises
• Connect local producers with markets and economic opportunities

03. Climate Resilience, Environment & Natural Resources

We work with communities to protect natural resources and strengthen resilience to climate change and environmental risks, particularly in vulnerable mountain and rural areas.

• Promote environmental conservation and sustainable natural resource management
• Support watershed, land, forest, and biodiversity conservation

04. Women, Youth, Culture & Social Inclusion

We promote an inclusive society where women, youth, marginalized groups, and disadvantaged communities have opportunities to participate, lead, and benefit from development.

05. Humanitarian Response, Disaster Management & Community Resilience

We support communities affected by disasters and emergencies while helping them prepare for and recover from future shocks.

What we do:

• Provide emergency relief and humanitarian assistance
• Support communities affected by floods, landslides, earthquakes, fires, epidemics, and other emergencies
• Conduct rapid needs assessments and community-level response activities
• Support emergency preparedness and disaster risk reduction
• Assist with early recovery and rehabilitation
• Promote community-based disaster preparedness and resilience
• Coordinate with local governments, communities, humanitarian organizations, and development partners
