Project Title: Multi-Sectoral Nutrition Service Expansion Program for Nutrition-Friendly Local Level Declaration

Implementing Agency: Subi Foundation, Humla

Funding and Collaborating Partner: Kharpunath Rural Municipality, Humla

Fiscal Year: 2080/081 (2023/24)

Project Location: Kharpunath Rural Municipality, Humla District, Karnali Province

Project Duration: Up to the end of Ashadh 2081 (Mid-July 2024)

Objective: To support Kharpunath Rural Municipality in achieving the status of a Nutrition-Friendly Local Level through the implementation of a multi-sectoral nutrition service expansion program.

Key Activities:

• Coordination with local government offices for smooth implementation
• Delivery of planned nutrition-related activities within the approved budget
• Capacity building and community-level interventions focused on improving nutrition indicators
• Timely reporting and documentation (photos, reports, bills)

Expected Outcomes:

• Improved access to nutrition services at the local level
• Strengthened coordination among local stakeholders
• Progress toward official declaration as a Nutrition-Friendly Local Level

Compliance and Responsibilities:

• The implementing agency (Second Party) will bear full responsibility for staff safety and insurance
• The First Party will provide management and operational costs post-implementation
• No sub-contracting is allowed
• The agreement is subject to the laws of the Government of Nepal

Monitoring and Evaluation:
Regular coordination with municipal offices, submission of progress reports, and final evaluation after program completion.
