“School in a Bag” Programme
SUBI Foundation Nepal has signed an agreement with the Helambu Education and Livelihood Partnership (HELP) to implement the School in a Bag programme in Humla District. Through this partnership, SUBI Foundation will support the distribution of 471 SchoolBags to students from six schools in Adanchuli Rural Municipality and Sarkeghat.
Each SchoolBag includes essential educational and hygiene materials such as English/Nepali copies, drawing books, hygiene kits, pencil sets, color pencils, pens, geometry boxes, and water bottles.
Under this collaboration, SUBI Foundation will coordinate with local authorities, manage logistics and distribution, document beneficiaries, ensure consent and reporting, and facilitate monitoring, evaluation, and social audit activities. HELP will provide funding support for facilitation and bear associated travel costs.
The distribution will take place between 1st to 15th Mangshir 2082, with both organizations committed to maintaining a non-political, transparent, and student-centered approach.
This initiative aims to enhance access to learning materials for marginalized students in remote communities, contributing to improved school attendance and educational outcomes.
